Manali experiences major tourist footfalls all year round. If you are going there for camping, summer months from April to July fit the bill. Also, the winter transition months of September and October are suitable as winter is just about to start at that time and it is still comfortably cool there. Winter is towards the extreme side with snow-clad surroundings. Hence, it is advisable to plan your trip accordingly.
