Pathankot from Punjab is the major rail-connect to Himachal which is around 300 kms. Another connection is to Kalka, Haryana which is again around 300 kms. There is another train route which is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site in itself. It is an engineering masterpiece from the British era as the journey passes through incredible landscapes.
By Air
The nearest airports from Himachal Pradesh include Chandigarh and Pathankot airports. They have regular flights to airports of Bhuntur airport- Manali, Gaggal airport-Kangra and Jubbarhatti airport Shimla.
By Road
Roadways of Himachal Pradesh are easily connected to major centers like Chandigarh, Kalka, and Pathankot. There are interstate buses also available from Delhi, Chandigarh, and Jaipur. Taxis are easily available to reach Himachal Pradesh easily.
